Description

"The Cal 33 is big enough to be reasonably comfortable, seaworthy enough to take on a squall but small enough to tuck into small harbors", as described by Sailing Magazine. The CAL 33 is also known for its performance and with a PHRF rating of 132 it is a fast cruiser and a great racing machine.

This 1988 Cal 33-2 (HUNT) is ready to go, sailed weekly, and comes complete with everything needed to race or cruise. She has a NEW main and jib in 2017, a spare main sail, and a used 135 genoa and lightly used Dacron 150 genoa. Also included are three spinnakers, one asymmetrical and two symmetrical.
Her current owners have carefully maintained her since 2008 and have kept a journal of all work performed and upgrades completed.

The hull is in great condition, with a 6'2" draft lead fin keel and a spade rudder.
Powered by a 30 hp Yanmar 3-cylinder fresh water cooled diesel engine she is very dependable. Access to the engine is superb with a removeable doghouse providing wide open access.

THIS MUST SEE, TURNKEY, OFFERING IS QUITE SPECIAL!
