Description
Want to Cruise Comfortably?
The very much sought after Catalina 375 is so for many reasons; LARGE everywhere including storage space, cabins, head, lockers, cockpit, and on deck. Those of you familiar with the ever popular Catalina 350 and the C36 would be amazed to see this larger version done very well!
As stated in a review by SAIL Magazine, "If something has worked well for 25 years, it's hard to make radical changes to it. The hull lines, basic accommodation plan, and deck layout are all pretty similar to what has come before. Since every aspect of the boat has been scrutinized and incrementally improved, the result is a more "updated" than "new." This is a no-nonsense cruising design that loyal Catalina owners and new buyers will like." And, according to Gerry Douglas in Practical Sailor, no compromise to performance, "Better performance, Douglas says, was at the top of the list, and giving the 375 a longer waterline and greater sail area-displacement ratio than the C36 ensured success on that front. Clearly, the 375 has a greater potential for faster passages than its predecessor, but it is, for all intents and purposes, a family cruiser, with comfort taking precedence).
The 2009 Catalina 375 "Sol Shine" has many upgrades including Air Conditioning/Heat, Davits, Solar, New Sails, and many more (read below).
